Go Bamboo Biodegradable Clothes Pegs
Go Bamboo Pegs are designed to weather Australia's and New Zealand’s harsh UV conditions and are kind on your clothes.
Plastic clothes pegs often make their way onto beaches by falling off the line and getting flushed out to sea with storm water. Go Bamboo clothes pegs are sturdy and strong and, unlike wooden pegs, won’t stain light coloured clothes because of bamboo’s low tannin content.
Bamboo can absorb carbon dioxide from the atmosphere between 7-30% more effectively than an equivalent area of forest.
Made from sustainable, biodegradable bamboo, recyclable stainless steel spring. Packaged in a recycled cardboard box.
Available in boxes of 20
ABOUT GO BAMBOO
Go Bamboo is a New Zealand company that’s serious about keeping plastic out of our coastlines, oceans and landfills. After learning about the North Pacific gyre, a sea of plastic twice the size of the state of Texas, their shock and disgust motivated them to try and live their lives with as little plastic as possible. While making progress just by changing their lifestyle and shopping habits, they realised it wasn’t enough. That’s when they created eco-friendly products. Go Bamboo won the waste minimisation section of the 2012 Green Ribbon Awards, which honour outstanding contributions to protecting New Zealand’s environment.
